Regular, open communication and consultation is highly valued at Gracefield School.  We take every opportunity to gain feedback from parents and strive to make it accessible and convenient for parents to air their views. The Parent Voice aims to represent the views of all parents and act as a voice to inform the school of the needs of our children and families. It is a chance for parents to feel part of important decisions relating to our school and the children’s education.

The group facilitates communication between parents/carers and staff, working to provide feedback on school matters, offer a parent's perspective on current policy and practice; and provide input into decision making and planning for future provision.  

The role of the Parent Forum is consultative and advisory. The Headteacher remains the decision maker of the school and provides strategic leadership, supported by staff members.
