Religious Education
At Gracefield School we follow a syllabus which is based on the teaching and practices of Christianity. Respect and appreciation of other principal religions in Great Britain is encouraged and developed.

Schemes of work are planned for the children of different age groups. The teaching also aims to help the children grow into responsible adults who have confidence in themselves and know right from wrong.
At Gracefield we celebrate the Christian Festivals with large concerts where all parents and friends are welcome to join with us. The children walk to the local church at Harvest, Christmas and Easter. Here are Gracefield pupils presenting the Nativity play at Christmas time.
There are two assemblies each week on a Monday and a Friday when the school community comes together either as a whole, or in smaller groups to celebrate collective values. Christian morals and teachings are shared by Mrs. Morgan during this time. Each class takes responsibility for two assemblies during the year and is able to share work developed within the classroom with the whole school.
